Over at Hathway Tech where we specialize in joomla web development we have been getting busier and busier with every new project. It was a pain keeping messages, tasks, client feedback, bug reports, and other project info consistent across email, google docs, and local computers. A few months back we discovered Basecamp, an excellent project management tool that has streamlined our business significantly.

When I first started as a web design freelancer I found a great resource to generate leads in an industry that I was relatively unfamiliar with. I learned a trick while using the Google Reader and a little known site called Crazedlist.org that lets you follow RSS feeds of Craigslist postings based on specific keywords and locations. This allows you to easily scan craigslist for web development leads.

While browsing around Joomla.org the other day, I came across one of the most interesting blog posts I have seen lately. In this post, the author Ankit Ahuja speaks about his Summer of Code project in which he fine-tunes a feature that will have both Joomla! developers and clients alike scrambling for the Extensions Directory when it comes out. Front-end editing has finally arrived for the Joomla! CMS.
